PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haw Thorn (ranked 119 p4p, 374 weight class) and Polish Power (ranked 11 p4p, 21 weight class). Thorn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!. Power has chosen Xanadu by Ummet Ozcan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haw Thorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Polish Power!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thorn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Power throws a body punch but Thorn moves out of range.
Power throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Power clobbers Thorn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've been informed that Power has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Power throws a leg kick which misses Thorn's front leg but catches the back leg as Thorn tries to avoid it.
Power throws a front kick aimed at Thorn's knee but Thorn avoids it well.
Power throws out a loose jab but Thorn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thorn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Haw Thorn has been cut.
Thorn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Thorn is breathing heavily.
Power connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Power scores with a spinning back kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Power lands a slapping body shot.
Power scores with a decent looking hook.

Power feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thorn sprawling to the canvas! Thorn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Power finish him?!

Thorn is rocked!
Power misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Power flashes Thorn a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Thorn's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Thorn crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Power punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Polish Power!
A very excited looking Polish Power made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
