The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley throws a head kick that misses

and Ortega counters with a shoot takedown. Foley fights it but they end up in guard.
Ortega won't allow Foley to sweep him here.
Ortega slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Ortega landing with the ground and pound.
Ortega controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortega pushes down on Foley's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Foley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ortega scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ortega dives in and scores a takedown into Foley's guard.
Foley wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ortega manages to pass to side control.

Ortega works his way into full mount!
Foley tries to reverse the position but Ortega maintains control.
