The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Johnson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Menday throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight.

Menday ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Menday throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson misses with a body kick.
Menday throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Menday throws a hook but Johnson avoids it easily.
Johnson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Kareem Johnson has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnson, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Menday moves into range and connects with a jab.
Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot.

Menday drops Johnson with a right and a left! Menday comes rushing in but Johnson regains his composure and manages to keep Menday in guard.

Johnson is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Menday arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Johnson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
