Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Landin Durham (ranked 510 p4p, 1520 weight class) and Jorge Baroza (ranked 39 p4p, 111 weight class). Jorge Baroza will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Landin Durham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jorge Baroza!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham misses with a takedown attempt
and Baroza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Baroza lands a big head kick that sends Durham tumbling to the mat! Baroza takes a step backwards and waves Durham back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Baroza stuffs the takedown attempt from Durham. Durham gets slowly back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Durham lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Baroza has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Baroza and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Baroza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Durham shoots for a takedown but Baroza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Durham shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baroza's guard.

Baroza is trying to control the position but Durham postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Durham misses with a looping right.
Baroza throws out a counter right but Durham avoids it with no problem.
Durham lunges at Baroza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baroza's hand.

Baroza stuffs the takedown attempt from Durham. Durham gets slowly back to his feet.
Durham drives through with a takedown into Baroza's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Durham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baroza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Baroza looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Durham puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Durham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Durham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A close round but Jorge Baroza will probably get the nod.

Baroza sends Durham crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Baroza is motioning to the referee to let Durham up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Durham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Baroza counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Baroza counters with a slapping leg kick.
Baroza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Durham or perhaps it was just good defense by Baroza, which made it look bad.
Baroza flicks out a counter leg kick but Durham steps away.
Durham seems to have got his legs back now.

and Baroza counters with a thumping low kick.
Baroza fakes the leg kick and cracks Durham in the body.
That kick from Baroza tenderised Durham's leg. Durham is trying to keep his angry face on.
Baroza slips a straight right by Durham.
Baroza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Baroza feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Durham collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
