Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Justice Johnston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Phillip Mckay!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johnston throws a good cross that connects.
Mckay throws a nice looking combination but Johnston bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mckay tries to clinch up.
Nice defenses there by Mckay.
Johnston looks to score with a jab to the body but Mckay is just out of range.
Mckay has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Johnston throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mckay tries to clinch up but Johnston circles away and keeps his distance.
Mckay walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Johnston just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnston avoids the body shot from Mckay.
It looked like Johnston was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mckay.
Mckay moves to clinch but Johnston breaks away
and Johnston counters with a leg kick.
Mckay fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnston definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mckay tries to clinch up.
Johnston is looking to counter with head kicks.

Johnston works the jab nicely.
Mckay takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mckay shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnston as he jumps to the side.
Johnston connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Johnston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mckay moves away.
Mckay feints the counter takedown.
Johnston jabs at Mckay's body.
Mckay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnston sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick from Mckay misses.
Johnston throws a quick counter kick to the body but Mckay avoids it.
A lazy left from Johnston finds it's target.
The fighters circling - Johnston throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mckay tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Johnston lands a jab.

Mckay is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnston stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mckay is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnston finish him?
Mckay leaves his chin hanging out and Johnston seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Mckay crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
