The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakarow shoots in looking for a takedown but Santaban manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bakarow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bakarow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bakarow unleashes a big counter combination but Santaban bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bakarow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bakarow's coach down at Death By Snu Snu was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bakarow's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Uniesky Santaban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Bakarow.

Bakarow loses concentration momentarily and Santaban pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Bakarow crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Santaban finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
