Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Unicorn Big Foot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tapio Virtainen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Foot feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Virtainens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Virtainen moves out of range of the strikes.
Virtainen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Virtainen there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Tapio Virtainen has been cut.
Big Foot misses with a body shot
and Virtainen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Big Foot gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fighters circling - Big Foot throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Virtainen! But no joy.
Big Foot works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Big Foot fails with the takedown
and Virtainen counters with a crisp right that sends Big Foot to the canvas! Virtainen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tapio Virtainen!
