Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Marius (ranked 3711 p4p, 5635 weight class) and Nickolas Benjamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nickolas Benjamin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marius comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Benjamin tries to clinch but Marius is having none of it.
Marius was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Benjamin shoots in but no luck this time.
Benjamin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nickolas Benjamin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benjamin tries to clinch but Marius moves out of range.
Benjamin has a takedown stuffed.
Gaius Marius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nickolas Benjamin.

Marius lands a big head kick that sends Benjamin tumbling to the mat! Marius takes a step backwards and waves Benjamin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gaius Marius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marius fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Benjamin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Marius lands a big head kick that sends Benjamin tumbling to the mat! Marius takes a step backwards and waves Benjamin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Benjamin is rocked!
Benjamin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Marius counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
