PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 23752 p4p, 23645 weight class) and Agbay Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga throws a body kick that misses.
Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side.
Amiga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Amiga circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
