Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sigandi Legendary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfonso Melendez!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Legendary pinned against the cage. Legendary gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Legendary seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Melendez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Legendary did well to prevent Melendez getting side control.
Melendez not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Legendary has hold of Melendez's hands but Melendez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Melendez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Legendary is just riding it out for now. Melendez eventually gives up the hold.
Melendez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Melendez passes to side control.
Melendez has hold of Legendary's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Legendary seems comfortable defending it but Melendez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Legendary is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Legendary is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Melendez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
