And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Cunningham!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham throws out a powerful jab.
Cunningham lands with a cross.
Osipov dodges the punch combination from Cunningham.
Cunningham moves away from the strike by Osipov.
Cunningham fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A big left from Cunningham misses.
Osipov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dennis Cunningham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cunningham looks to score with a jab to the body but Osipov is just out of range.
Osipov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osipov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Fedor Osipov has been cut.
Osipov moves out of range of the strikes.

Cunningham throws a looping overhand right but Osipov ducks down to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cunningham has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Osipov slips a straight right by Cunningham.
Cunningham slips under a jab from Osipov.
Osipov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cunningham. Osipov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Osipov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cunningham lands with a right hand.

and Osipov counters with a takedown into side control.
The strikes coming from Osipov are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Cunningham wants to control but Osipov postures up.
Osipov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Osipov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cunningham sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cunningham is looking for a sweep.
Cunningham is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Osipov is looking to take a break and control but Cunningham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Osipov working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Cunningham struggling a bit here.
Cunningham wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Osipov has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Cunningham's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Cunningham is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Osipov!

In his post fight interview, Fedor Osipov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
