Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Valerio (ranked 2892 p4p, 2991 weight class) and Diziz Sparta Jr (ranked 324 p4p, 123 weight class). Valerio's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, God is a DJ - Faithless. Sparta Jr has chosen Just like you imagined as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valerio throws a good cross that connects.

Sparta Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sparta Jr lands in his opponent's guard.
Sparta Jr sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Valerio's guard.
Sparta Jr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Valerio does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Valerio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sparta Jr keeps working.

Valerio uses his free foot to push down on Sparta Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sparta Jr.

Valerio is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sparta Jr can do to turn this around?
