The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinny shoots for a double leg takedown but Rangel sprawls well. He's pushed Dinny's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rangel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dinny.
Dinny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Rangel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Rangel lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dinny backwards.
Dinny can't find room to land a body shot as Rangel controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rangel creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dinny changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rangel fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
