Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Hall (ranked 653 p4p, 549 weight class) and Kodiyak Redd (ranked 29 p4p, 24 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Andy Shauf: The Magician. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kodiyak Redd!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Redd throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Redd working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Redd shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hall manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kodiyak Redd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hall is persistently looking for the submission but Redd is defending it well.
Hall gets his hands free as Redd looks to control.
Hall has the hooks in. Redd is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Hall is trying to stick to Redd's back but Redd is turning into Hall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Redd.

This one could be over very soon! Redd goes limp - he's gone! Hall jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
