PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trayvon Lewis (ranked 182 p4p, 723 weight class) and Simon Soap (ranked 24 p4p, 104 weight class). Soap comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Clean Up - Barney The Purple Dinosaur kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Soap!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soap lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lewis's sensitive parts.
Lewis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Soap lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lewis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lewis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

You can see the frustration on Soap's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Soap felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lewis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Soap is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lewis.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soap decides to stand back up. Soap steps back and let's Lewis get back to his feet.
