Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dredd Tatum (ranked 1004 p4p, 1344 weight class) and Ted Bundy (ranked 64 p4p, 78 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Bundy!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum throws a jab when Bundy was well out of range.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tatum sprawls well. Tatum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bundy gets slowly back to his feet.
Tatum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A quick step to the side and Tatum tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dredd Tatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Bundy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bundy works to advance to full mount. Tatum defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bundy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Bundy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tatum to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tatum shrugs it off.
Tatum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bundy on the ground.

Bundy lands a big elbow.
Tatum is trying desperately to improve position.

Bundy moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tatum has worked his arm free - good work by Tatum!
The ground and pound from Bundy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Tatum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bundy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bundy wants to control but Tatum is keeping him busy.
Bundy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tatum works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Tatum is not content to let Bundy control the position.
Tatum wants to get back to full guard but Bundy has passed into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bundy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tatum has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bundy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bundy misses with the ground and pound.
Bundy works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tatum stops Bundy from passing to mount.
Bundy is looking to take a break and control but Tatum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bundy advances to full mount.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bundy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Bundy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tatum keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bundy is working for a kimura but Tatum is defending it quite comfortably.
Tatum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bundy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tatum gets back to full guard.
Bundy wants to control from the top but Tatum keeps moving.
Tatum looking for a sweep. Not yet Tatum, not yet.
Bundy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tatum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bundy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Tatum has Bundy pulled in close to control his posture.

Bundy is looking for a triangle but Tatum pushes his legs off easily.

Tatum is sitting in close to Bundy's body. Bundy has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tatum is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tatum is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bundy.
