Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laime tries to avoid it but Patrick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laime to the ground. Laime escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Laime feinted with a counter takedown.
Patrick on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Laime. Laime obviously looking to wear him down.
Patrick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Laime, pushing him back against the cage.
Patrick pulls guard successfully.
Laime trying to control but Patrick is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick pulls Laime in close to his closed guard and prevents Laime from doing any damage or advancing position.
Patrick is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Laime has his hands clasped together but Patrick extends and breaks Laime's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Patrick.
