Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enver Karacan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dimebag Abbot!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot moves into range and connects with a jab.
Abbot scores with a jab.

Abbot rushes Karacan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Karacan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Abbot gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Abbot misses with an uppercut
and Abbot takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Abbot scores with a jab to the jaw.
Abbot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Karacan.
A jab lands there for Abbot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abbot throws a jab but it's blocked by Karacan.
Abbot throws an overhand right that lands on Karacan's shoulder, as Karacan tries to avoid the shot.
Abbot misses with a left hand
and Karacan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Karacan throws a hook to the side of Abbot's head but Abbot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abbot scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Abbot takes the fight into the clinch.

Abbot pulls guard.
Karacan wanted to stand there but Abbot had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karacan stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Abbot looks to score with a jab to the body but Karacan is just out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abbot uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Karacan.
Karacan avoids the body shot from Abbot.
An attempted straight right counter from Karacan misses the target.
Karacan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Abbot throws a lazy uppercut
and Karacan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Dimebag Abbot has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Abbot.
Karacan throws a hook to the side of Abbot's head but Abbot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abbot steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Abbot throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Karacan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Abbot might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Abbot closes the distance and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Karacan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Abbot throws a combination that misses

and Karacan counters with a nice right hand that sends Abbot toppling to the canvas! Abbot scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Karacan finish him?!

Abbot is rocked!
Karacan lands a nice shot to the body.
Abbot is still on wobbly legs! Can Karacan finish him?
Abbot cracks Karacan with a right hand to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karacan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Karacan knocks out Abbot with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Karacan before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Karacan picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Enver Karacan!
During a confident post fight interview, Enver Karacan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
