Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Matheus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante Matheus!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matheus misses with a looping right.
Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Matheus blocks a head kick by Williams.
Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from Williams as Matheus shoots in.

Matheus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.
Williams is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams stops Matheus from passing to mount.
Matheus throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matheus tries to move to mount but Williams blocks the move with his legs.
Williams wants to get back to his feet but Matheus drags him back down.
Williams is breathing heavily.

Matheus is chipping away with strikes.
Williams trying to remain calm as Matheus controls from the top position.
Williams avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Matheus.

Matheus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Williams to his feet.

Matheus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Matheus trying to pass the guard but Williams defending well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Matheus connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams is looking for a sweep. Matheus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Matheus passes the guard and advances to mount!

Matheus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Matheus is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Williams is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Williams flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Matheus anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Williams and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Matheus slips an arm under Williams chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Matheus has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Matheus is squeezing on Williams like an anaconda would it's prey. Williams fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
