And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arto Jarvinen!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jarvinen dips to his left and cracks Bautista with an uppercut!
We've been informed that Jarvinen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jarvinen misses with an uppercut
and Bautista counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jarvinen misses with a jab to the body
and Bautista cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jarvinen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jarvinen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bautista throws a shot from downtown. Jarvinen moves away and avoids it.

Jarvinen clobbers Bautista with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jarvinen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bautista is rocked!

It looks like Drax Bautista has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bautista misses with a kick to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Jarvinen misses the target.
Bautista misses with an uppercut. Jarvinen saw that one coming.
Jarvinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bautista moves away.
Bautista was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Bautista takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bautista takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jarvinen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bautista.

and Jarvinen counters by moving into the clinch.

Bautista misses with a straight left.

Jarvinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bautista throws out the jab.
Bautista takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bautista has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jarvinen finds it's way round the side to connect with Bautista's head.

Jarvinen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bautista sprawling to the canvas! Bautista rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jarvinen finish him?!
Oh Bautista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jarvinen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bautista had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bautista missing with a left hand there. Jarvinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jarvinen drops Bautista with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bautista! Jarvinen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
