Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quer Tajik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxence Laurentian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tajik takes a swing at Laurentian's ribcage but misses.
Laurentian works Tajik's body with a nice hook.

Quer Tajik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laurentian throws a body punch but Tajik moves out of range.

Laurentian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tajik stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Laurentian cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Tajik is rocked!
Tajik walks straight into a right hand from Laurentian - that's dropped him! Laurentian jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tajik from any more punishment! Tajik complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
