The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power fails with an attempt to clinch.
A slow jab from Power misses its intended target.
Washington lands a nice looking body kick.
Washington ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice combo by Washington! Oh, that's hurt him - Power falls to the canvas and Washington follows him into side control.

It looks like Thomas Power has been cut.
Power looks gassed!

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Washington trying to control the position but Power is working away.

Washington decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Thomas Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Power takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Power takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Washington scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
