Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judo Dan (ranked 2263 p4p, 2461 weight class) and Jesse Kidd (ranked 271 p4p, 292 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd with a poor takedown
and Kidd takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kidd fails with the takedown
and Dan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kidd gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Judo Dan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Kidd.
Kidd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dan counters with a right hand to the body.
Kidd misses with a takedown attempt
and Dan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kidd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kidd doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Dan counters with a nice right hand that sends Kidd toppling to the canvas! Kidd scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dan finish him?!

It looks like Jesse Kidd has been cut.
Kidd looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big left from Dan misses.
Dan thuds a left hand into Kidd's body.
Dan is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kidd looks winded!
Kidd has his takedown stuffed

and Dan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kidd! Dan lets Kidd back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Kidd is rocked!
Dan closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Kidd out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
