In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 9 losses; Justa Nutz! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 71 wins and 52 losses; Rolf Ottke!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ottke leaves Nutz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nutz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ottke drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nutz defends it well.

The referee asks Ottke politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ottke prefers to stall for the moment though.

Ottke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Let's hope that Ottke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A very excited looking Rolf Ottke made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
