Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Singh (ranked 4517 p4p, 25358 weight class) and Aayush Pande (ranked 459 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Aayush Pande acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rohan Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aayush Pande!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh works Pande's body with a nice hook.
Singh with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pande counters with a three punch combo that has Singh backing up. Singh nods at Pande to acknowledge the strikes.
Singh slaps away a takedown attempt from Pande, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Singh fails with a takedown attempt.

Singh drives through with a takedown into Pande's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Singh is breathing heavily.
Pande not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pande can do anything to dispel that myth.
Singh content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Pande thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Singh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pande shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Singh sprawls well. Singh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pande gets slowly back to his feet.

Pande is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Singh misses with a hook from the clinch.
Pande looking to stall.
Pande tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Singh will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pande up against the cage.
Pande has had enough of the clinch but Singh keeps him there for the moment.

Singh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Singh wants to control from the top but Pande keeps moving.

Singh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pande is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Singh to the mat. Singh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Pande is looking to stand up but Singh won't let him.

Singh slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Pande.
Singh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Pande looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Singh pushes past his half guard into mount!

Singh is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Pande is forced to tap! Great finish!
