Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Enrico Cammula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Draconis!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Draconis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Draconis is trying to control. Cammula wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Draconis has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at New York Public Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Draconis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cammula has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Draconis is working away from the top position though.

Cammula wants to control but Draconis is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cammula moves into full guard.
Cammula wants to sweep but no luck.
Draconis wants to pass the guard but Cammula is keeping the position.
Cammula is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cammula looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Draconis puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Draconis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cammula with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Draconis is thwarting Cammula's attempts to control the position.

Draconis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Draconis lands a nice short elbow.

Draconis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cammula does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jeez, Enrico Cammula's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Enrico Cammula's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
