Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Edwinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwinsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is M by Ayumi Hamasaki. Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Freddy Fader - Bom Bom Suenan. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Edwinsson tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edwinsson tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edwinsson to the ground. Edwinsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edwinsson doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Magnus Edwinsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Silva.
The fight stays on the outside here - Edwinsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Edwinsson tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Edwinsson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwinsson leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Edwinsson shows good takedown defense.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Edwinsson wants to control but Silva is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edwinsson wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.

Silva stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Edwinsson throws up his legs and catches Silva in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Silva tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Edwinsson! That came out of nowhere!
