Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kendrick Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tevita Maui!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa tries to clinch up but Maui circles away and keeps his distance.
Sosa wants to clinch.
Maui misses with a looping left.
Sosa rushes Maui and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Maui can't find room to land a body shot as Sosa controls the action.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sosa - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Maui breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maui lands a big uppercut and Sosa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sosa looks OK. Maui waves Sosa back to his feet!
It looks like Kendrick Sosa has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maui lands a big right hand that sends Sosa crashing to the mat! Maui stays standing though and waves Sosa back to his feet!
Sosa is rocked!
Maui moves in close and cracks Sosa with a massive right hand! Sosa, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Maui!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tevita Maui!
A relieved looking Tevita Maui thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
