Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 2839 p4p, 2867 weight class) and Adisa Kenyatta (ranked 349 p4p, 350 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenyatta takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Banner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Banner smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kenyatta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The crowd cheers as Banner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kenyatta doesn't seem phased though.
Kenyatta takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Banner is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Kenyatta takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kenyatta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banner's waist but Banner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kenyatta off to one side.
It looked like Banner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kenyatta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Banner is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Kenyatta tries to pull guard but Banner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Banner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Banner works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kenyatta takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Banner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Banner wants it to stay on the feet.
Bruce Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adisa Kenyatta.
Kenyatta tries to clinch but Banner is having none of it.
Kenyatta shoots in looking for a takedown. Banner tries to sprawl out of it but Kenyatta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Banner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Banner.
Banner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Banner thuds his right hand into Kenyatta's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Banner gets tackled into the cage by Kenyatta. Kenyatta maintains the clinch.

Kenyatta has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Banner uses from the top position.

Kenyatta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kenyatta is looking to take a break and control but Banner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Banner kicks Kenyatta off and gets back to his feet.

Banner scores with a head kick. Kenyatta tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kenyatta has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Banner finds it's way round the side to connect with Kenyatta's head.

Kenyatta is rocked!
Banner cracks Kenyatta with a left hook right on the temple and Kenyatta goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Banner lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Kenyatta is OK!
