Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Rocha (ranked 5622 p4p, 5340 weight class) and Shoyoroll Shanks (ranked 511 p4p, 505 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shoyoroll Shanks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha misses with an uppercut
and Shanks counters with a stiff right hand.

and Rocha counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Rocha gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shanks feints a jab promting Rocha to slip. Shanks then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rocha slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shanks's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rocha under the eye.

Shanks might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shanks throws a wild hook but Rocha just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Shanks gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Rocha raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lewis Rocha!
A very excited looking Lewis Rocha made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
