Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeShaun Dupree Holton (ranked 1024 p4p, 1937 weight class) and Bernard Ramsey (ranked 134 p4p, 237 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeShaun Dupree Holton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernard Ramsey!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupree Holton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ramsey gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dupree Holton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ramsey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dupree Holton goes for a takedown attempt but Ramsey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dupree Holton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ramsey tries to avoid it but Dupree Holton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ramsey to the ground. Ramsey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeShaun Dupree Holton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ramsey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dupree Holton.
Dupree Holton gets tackled into the cage by Ramsey. Ramsey maintains the clinch.

Dupree Holton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dupree Holton is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ramsey!
Dupree Holton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ramsey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ramsey shrugs it off.

Dupree Holton takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Dupree Holton is persistently looking for the submission but Ramsey is defending it well.
Dupree Holton has the hooks in. Ramsey is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Ramsey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dupree Holton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ramsey is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dupree Holton gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dupree Holton has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Ramsey is defending well but eventually Dupree Holton manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Ramsey has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
