Kahnwald drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Kahnwald off! Kahnwald jumps back into Smith's guard.

Smith is trying to get back to half guard.
Smith seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Kahnwald has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kahnwald yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kahnwald.
