Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jello Belly (ranked 2595 p4p, 1799 weight class) and Shinji Tomoguchi (ranked 255 p4p, 184 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Shinji Tomoguchi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomoguchi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Belly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tomoguchi scrambles back to his feet.
Belly loads up on a big right hand but Tomoguchi slips the punch.
Tomoguchi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Tomoguchi rushes Belly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Belly takes a shot to the head.
Tomoguchi lands a right hand.
Belly is trying to force a seperation but Tomoguchi has the dominant position.
Our sources have told us that Belly has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Belly drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tomoguchi pulls his leg out and moves away.

Belly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tomoguchi, pushing him back against the cage.
Tomoguchi lands with a light punch inside.
Belly is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Belly can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jello Belly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tomoguchi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Belly up against the cage.
Tomoguchi tries to work over Belly's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tomoguchi stalls.
Belly can't get the takedown.

Belly has Tomoguchi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Belly pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tomoguchi tumbling to the mat - Belly dives into Tomoguchi's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Belly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Belly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tomoguchi is keeping the position for now.
Belly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tomoguchi is proving hard to escape from.

Belly is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tomoguchi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Belly is looking to defend but Tomoguchi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Belly! Tomoguchi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Belly taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shinji Tomoguchi!
A less than humble Shinji Tomoguchi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Jello Belly had this to say: 'I'm hungry'.
