Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Pancit (ranked 2416 p4p, 2493 weight class) and Gabriel Mil (ranked 282 p4p, 290 weight class). Mr Pancit has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mr Pancit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gabriel Mil!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mil showed some decent athleticism there.

Mil is trying to control the action in half guard but Pancit is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pancit makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pancit.

Pancit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mil defends it easily.
Mil wants to control from the top but Pancit keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pancit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mil swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mil controls Pancit momentarily but Pancit frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pancit accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Mil is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pancit's half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Gabriel Mil.
Well Mil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
