Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods looks for a takedown but Alexander sprawls well.
Woods closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Woods lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Woods shoots in looking for a takedown. Alexander tries to sprawl out of it but Woods keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alexander manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Woods lands an impressive looking overhand right. Alexander doesn't seem phased though.

Woods tries for a takedown but Alexander sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Woods scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Alexander misses with a wild combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck for Woods with that takedown attempt.
Woods throws a body shot but no joy.
Woods is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alexander's half guard.
Woods has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Alexander defend it? Woods steps over the head and cranks it - Alexander is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Woods!
