Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wang Jang Jai (ranked 89 p4p, 322 weight class) and Emmerson Mile (ranked 17 p4p, 44 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jang Jai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Snake Shadow. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jang Jai's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mile under the eye.

Jang Jai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mile manages to avoid it.
Mile throws a fast counter high kick but Jang Jai manages to duck under it in time.

Mile's coach down at Gunplay MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mile's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mile fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jang Jai has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd cheers as Jang Jai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mile doesn't seem phased though.

Mile feints and then cracks Jang Jai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jang Jai down.

Mile does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wang Jang Jai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mile lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jang Jai's sensitive parts.
Mile uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jang Jai.
Mile tried to score with a low kick but Jang Jai checks it.
Jang Jai is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Jang Jai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It looked like Jang Jai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jang Jai. Mile does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jang Jai cracks Mile with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mile looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jang Jai finish him?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jang Jai lands a brutal uppercut that launches Mile off his feet! Mile tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wang Jang Jai!
