These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix throws a head kick that misses.
Lacroix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Savage walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Savage misses with a double jab.

Lacroix appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

It looked like Savage was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lacroix.
Lacroix misses with a straight left.
Lacroix dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Savage. That did some damage!

The Royal Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Lacroix - that's a beauty! Savage is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Lacroix can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
