Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil DeBlunt (ranked 3199 p4p, 3341 weight class) and Jake Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Berzerk by Eminem. Jake Peterson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil DeBlunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlunt throws a hook to the side of Peterson's head but Peterson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Peterson misses with a jab, cross combination.
DeBlunt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
DeBlunt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
DeBlunt lands a front kick.
DeBlunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
DeBlunt dodges the punch combination from Peterson.
DeBlunt is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Peterson feints a jab promting DeBlunt to slip. Peterson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. DeBlunt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
DeBlunt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peterson drops his hands momentarily and DeBlunt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
Peterson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jake Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peterson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and DeBlunt counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Peterson falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
