Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maxim Ward!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eagle is looking to clinch but Ward is avoiding it.
Ward throws a nice looking combination but Eagle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ward connects with a crisp jab.
Ward throws a body shot but no joy.
Ward showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Eagle.
Ward moves away from the strike by Eagle.
Eagle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ward paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ward has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Eagle is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ward wants the takedown. Eagle is fighting it off but Ward persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Eagle's guard against the cage.

Eagle cracks Ward's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Ward slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Eagle can do further damage! This one is done, son!

After the fight, David Eagle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
