Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snorlak Puff (ranked 4100 p4p, 4006 weight class) and Frank Ganu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Ganu!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganu misses with a combination

and Puff counters by clinching up.
Puff tries to throw a body punch but Ganu avoids it by throwing Puff back against the cage.

Ganu breaks the clinch.
Ganu tries to clinch but Puff is having none of it.
Ganu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Snorlak Puff has been cut.
Ganu tries to clinch up but Puff circles away and keeps his distance.
Puff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ganu pinned against the cage. Ganu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puff avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Puff attempts a counter takedown but Ganu avoids it well and moves away.

Puff seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Puff throws a low kick, looking for Ganu's leg but Ganu calmly moves out of range.
Puff tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Puff or perhaps it was just good defense by Ganu, which made it look bad.
Puff avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Puff. Ganu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Puff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ganu but Ganu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ganu unleashes a big counter combination but Puff bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Ganu tried to score with a low kick but Puff checks it.

Ganu sizes up Puff with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Puff tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ganu defends well and Puff ends up having to push Ganu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Puff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ganu as he jumps to the side.
Puff throws a head kick but Ganu moves out of range.

Ganu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Puff, pushing him back against the cage.

Ganu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Puff's hands.
Puff misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ganu rushes Puff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ganu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ganu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Puff checks it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ganu cracks Puff with an open hand slap.
Ganu misses the jab.
Puff seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Snorlak Puff's cut.

Puff looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Puff is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ganu cracks Puff with an open hand slap.
Nice takedown defense from Ganu. No joy for Puff on that attempt.
Ganu scores with the left hand. Puff knows he should have avoided that one.
A punch lands to the side of Puff 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Puff looks for a takedown but Ganu sprawls well.

Ganu scores with a sloppy right hand. Puff should have avoided that one.
Ganu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ganu lands a lovely overhand right.

Oooooh!!! Ganu has knocked Puff down with a huge combo! Ganu steps away and waves a wobbly Puff back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Puff is rocked!
Puff walks straight into a right hand from Ganu - that's dropped him! Ganu jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Puff from any more punishment! Puff complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
