Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Dickson (ranked 23101 p4p, 22957 weight class) and Fortune Thibodeaux (ranked 296 p4p, 288 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson misses with a left hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Dickson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Thibodeaux throws a head kick that Dickson semi-blocks.
Dickson misses the body punch
and Thibodeaux counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dickson throws a looping overhand right but Thibodeaux ducks down to avoid it.
Dickson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Thibodeaux counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Thibodeaux throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thibodeaux plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dickson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thibodeaux.
Dickson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Thibodeaux cracks Dickson with an open hand slap.
Dickson throws a body punch but Thibodeaux moves out of range.
Thibodeaux ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dickson throws a lazy right hand but Thibodeaux sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dickson missing with a left hand there. Thibodeaux was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dickson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thibodeaux circles away quickly and effectively.
Thibodeaux looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Thibodeaux moves into the clinch successfully.
Thibodeaux lands with a short shot to the head.
Thibodeaux lands an elbow just above Dickson 's eye.

A nice right hand lands inside from Thibodeaux.

Dickson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Thibodeaux has Dickson pressed against the cage, preventing Dickson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Thibodeaux gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Thibodeaux gets through Dickson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dickson throws a punch but it's blocked by Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux lands a nice elbow.
Thibodeaux lands with a left to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thibodeaux creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dickson is rocked!
Thibodeaux content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Dickson is trying to break the clinch but Thibodeaux has him pressed against the cage.
Thibodeaux dips a shoulder and cracks Dickson with a mighty uppercut! Dickson falls back against the cage and Thibodeaux unloads with a barrage of strikes! Dickson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Thibodeaux screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
