Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Baroza (ranked 2042 p4p, 2413 weight class) and Landin Durham (ranked 150 p4p, 173 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Landin Durham!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham looks to score with a jab to the body but Baroza is just out of range.
Baroza with the inside leg kick.
Baroza connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Durham's hands.
Durham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Durham throws a chopping leg kick but Baroza manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Durham has his takedown stuffed
and Baroza counters with a straight right hand.
Baroza listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Durham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baroza sprawls well initially but Durham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baroza wants to control but Durham is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Baroza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Baroza tries to roll over but Durham keeps him under control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baroza is trying to maintain the position but Durham is very close to passing his half guard.
Durham has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Durham is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Baroza is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
