Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexandar Georgiev (ranked 4019 p4p, 4015 weight class) and Mikazuchi Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 410 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georgiev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rei did well to prevent Georgiev getting side control.
Rei flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Rei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Georgiev swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Georgiev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rei for as long as he can get away with.

Georgiev's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rei takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Georgiev's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
