Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Homer Jet (ranked 25306 p4p, 4065 weight class) and Chang Hsueh Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hsueh Liang takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jet throws a head kick that Hsueh Liang semi-blocks.
An inside leg kick lands from Jet.
Nice defenses there by Jet.
Jet throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hsueh Liang takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chang Hsueh Liang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jet gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jet has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hsueh Liang is trying to keep an underhook but Jet manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hsueh Liang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jet is working away from the top position though.

Jet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jet is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hsueh Liang has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jet is looking to defend but Hsueh Liang has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jet! Hsueh Liang pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jet taps out and this one is all over!
