The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Bandito half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
O'Reilly moves to clinch but Bandito breaks away

and Bandito counters with a nice double leg into side control. O'Reilly won't be happy with that.

O'Reilly tries to bench press Bandito off him but Bandito keeps the position.
Bandito will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bandito is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down O'Reilly's shoulder. That is not cool.
O'Reilly tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Bandito easily slips into full mount!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bandito wants to take a breather but O'Reilly is having none of it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bandito in particular looking to stall.

O'Reilly has his foot on Bandito's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bandito works his way back into a safe position though.
Bandito seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've been hearing good reports from Bandito's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
O'Reilly is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bandito's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

O'Reilly has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bandito doesn't defend quickly enough and O'Reilly has managed to lock this one up! Can Bandito escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to O'Reilly on a fantastic submission victory.
