Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Schwartz Gomez (ranked 956 p4p, 1987 weight class) and Peter OBrien (ranked 107 p4p, 215 weight class). Gomez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, POP SMOKE - GOT IT ON ME. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez tries a head kick but it misses.

OBrien is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OBrien shoots in looking for a takedown. Gomez tries to sprawl out of it but OBrien keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gomez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gomez throws a perfectly timed hook that sends OBrien crashing down! OBrien tries to stagger back to his feet but Gomez just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused OBrien asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
