Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pope Callixtus (ranked 2758 p4p, 2588 weight class) and Vincent Duboulay (ranked 199 p4p, 185 weight class). Duboulay has chosen The Fire as his entrance music. Pope Callixtus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Callixtus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duboulay sprawls well initially but Callixtus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Duboulay trying to hold on to Callixtus's head to control him but Callixtus postures up.
Callixtus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Duboulay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Callixtus pulls his head out easily.

Callixtus tries to control but Duboulay wriggling away.
Duboulay's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duboulay sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Duboulay is not content to let Callixtus control the position.
Callixtus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Duboulay is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Callixtus feints and as Duboulay raises his hands in defense, Callixtus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Duboulay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Callixtus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Duboulay dives in for a single leg takedown but Callixtus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
