Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kukina Maluga (ranked 5117 p4p, 5249 weight class) and Aleki Veainu (ranked 449 p4p, 458 weight class). Aleki Veainu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kukina Maluga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aleki Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu looks to land a right hand but Maluga moved out of range.
Maluga pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Veainu looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Veainu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Veainu throws the left hand but Maluga avoids the punch easily.
As Veainu tries to get set, Maluga tries to push him back and clinch up but Veainu manages to avoid the attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Veainu. Maluga does a little dance to reset his feet.
Maluga throws a lazy uppercut
and Veainu counters with a nice uppercut.
Veainu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maluga was well out of range. Poor timing from Veainu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maluga misses with a right hand
and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Maluga toppling to the canvas! Maluga scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!
It looks like Kukina Maluga has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maluga throws an off balance right hand
and Veainu rattles Maluga with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Maluga tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Veainu dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Maluga stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Aleki Veainu!
