The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGowen throws a jab when The Legend was well out of range.
The Legend misses with an uppercut
and McGowen counters with a straight right hand.
The Legend throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McGowen sees it coming and avoids it easily.

McGowen let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

The fighters circling - The Legend throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McGowen misses with a hook. The Legend ducked under it nicely.

McGowen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends The Legend sprawling to the canvas! The Legend rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McGowen finish him?!
Oh The Legend is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Legend drops his hands momentarily. McGowen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. The Legend staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. The Legend doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
