The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira throws a wild body kick that Lin sees coming a mile off.
Horrible takedown attempt by Oliveira or perhaps it was just good defense by Lin, which made it look bad.
Lin fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Lin counters with a good low kick that Oliveira was not able to check.
Oliveira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown but Lin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lin wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Oliveira has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Lin's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH!
